Cardboard Collectibles case study

The point of this case study was to show how Upper Deck changed the baseball card industry by offering a better product than what was being sold before. They used better photography, graphics, and paper than other card companies. They also offered exclusive access to sports related websites and autographed memorabilia which persuaded sports fans to buy their new cards.

Superior- Upper Deck had a superior product than its competitors.
Collector's Market- Sports fans collect souvenirs that to remember their favorite teams and players.
Premiums- Gifts or prizes given as a reward for purchasing a product.
Authentic- Genuine memorabilia purchased by fans.
Memorabilia- Souvenirs or mementos to remember an important event.

I would like to learn more about big companies like Nike or Adidas that have factories in other countries. It's interesting that a lot of them are being accused of using slave labor and have terrible working conditions.
